BEFORE USING OUR WEBSITE OR JOINING THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SECTION 8 ELITE LEADERS AND SUPPORTERS (NASELS), PLEASE READ THIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT (“TERMS AND CONDITIONS” OR “AGREEMENT”) CAREFULLY. BY USING OUR WEBSITE OR JOINING NASELS, AS APPLICABLE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE OUR WEBSITE OR JOIN NASELS. IN ADVANCE, WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.  

TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATEMENT

The National Association of Section 8 Elite Leaders and Supporters (NASELS) is committed to providing excellent customer service. This Agreement entails using our website and joining NASELS. Our Terms and Conditions include website content. Main topics and descriptions are posted as website content. It is imperative to read and understand this information. Such topics are listed in Section 2 below. This Agreement contains key terms, such terms are defined in Section 1 below. The Terms and Conditions agreement is subject to our Privacy Policy located at nasels.org. Essential topics are duplicated to emphasize awareness. By using our website and joining NASELS, you expressly consent to our Privacy Policy and this Agreement as described herein:

1. DEFINED TERMS   

As used in this Agreement: (a) The National Association of Section 8 Elite Leaders and Supporters (referred to as “NASELS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a professional family-oriented organization, consulting business and motivational platform created to “Support Leaders. Inspire Generations.”

(b) “You,” “your,” “I,” or “yourself” refers to (you) as a member, visitor, or entity of our Website. 

(c) “NASELS Website” or “Website” refers to nasels.org, a website owned and operated by the National Association of Section 8 Elite Leaders and Supporters.

(d) “Personal Information” refers to any information that identifies a particular person. 

(e) “Non-Personal Information” refers to information that cannot identify a particular person

3. WHO IS COLLECTING YOUR INFORMATION

Your information is collected by the National Association of Section 8 Elite Leaders and Supporters. NASELS reserves the right to deny registrations, deactivate or delete accounts, and investigate activities for any reason or no reason. If such professional investigation determines any prohibited activity, your account will be deleted. You must wait 6-8 years to open a new account with NASELS.

4. WHAT INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT  

(a) We may collect Personal Information (including, but not limited to, your name, date of birth, current age, email address, mobile number, valid Government-issued ID, and Venmo or PayPal username) for business purposes. 

(b) We may collect Non-Personal Information (including, but not limited to, your domain name, IP address, browser type and mobile device IP) for business purposes. 


5. HOW WE MAY USE YOUR INFORMATION  

(a) We may use your Personal Information to create an account with NASELS. Before joining NASELS, review laws and legal age requirements in your jurisdiction to determine eligibility. 

  • If you are ineligible, DO NOT join NASELS. By law, you must exit our Website.

  • If you are eligible, proceed with registration. After completing the Verification Process and submitting the Membership/Consultation Fee, you will receive a code via email to access the Members-Only area. Please do not share this confidential information. 

(b) We may use Non-Personal Information for business purposes. 


6. HOW WE MAY SHARE YOUR INFORMATION  

We do not share your Personal Information, unless required to comply with legal obligations.


7. CHANGES TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Our Terms and Conditions were published on July 28, 2023. NASELS reserves the right to amend this Agreement without notice. All major changes to our Terms and Conditions will be posted on our Website. Please Note: Any information gathered under our revised Terms and Conditions supersede the previous agreement. By continuing to access our Website, you expressly consent to the revised Terms and Conditions. Periodically, review our Terms and Conditions to remain abreast of the latest revision. We reserve the right to modify or delete our Promotions without notice.

8. DATA SECURITY 

NASELS abides by strict security standards to safeguard your Personal Information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. However, you are responsible for safeguarding your Member ID and Password to strengthen data security. We maintain physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In case of a data breach, you will receive notification as soon as possible. If such incident occurs, an investigation will be conducted to discover origin and prosecute accordingly. If an employee violates our Terms and Conditions, such employee will be terminated, reported to law enforcement, and banned from interacting with NASELS. 


9. AGE POLICY: 13+ 

Individuals under the age of thirteen (13) are prohibited from visiting our Website and joining NASELS. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information from children under 13 years old. If we discover an underage account, such account will be deleted. If a parent or guardian discover an underage account, contact us via methods described in Paragraph 18. In doing so, such account will be deleted. As a preventive method to combat underage accounts, parents and guardians are encouraged to establish parental controls for internet access. 


10. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

By using this Website and external websites, you assume all responsibilities and risks. To the extent not prohibited by applicable law, in no event shall NASELS, its owners, successors, affiliates, agents, representatives, volunteers, members and employees, be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, and/or loss of data or loss of profits, and interruption of internet service) arising in connection with your use or inability to use this Website or external websites. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall our total liability to you for all damages (regardless of the theory of liability) exceed the amount of five hundred dollars (U.S. $500). In certain jurisdictions, limitations of liability do not apply to you and additional members. Except as otherwise provided on this Website, including without limitation the Members-Only area is provided by us on an “As Is” and “As Available” basis, with all faults and without warranty of any kind. Note: NASELS makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the Members-Only area. Plus, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we hereby disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, data accuracy, system integration and non-infringement. NASELS does not warrant against interference with your enjoyment of the Members-Only area, that the operation of services will be uninterrupted or error-free. This Website may contain grammatical or typographical errors. We reserve the right to correct such errors without notice. 


11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NASELS, its owners, successors, affiliates, agents, representatives, volunteers, members and employees from any loss, liability, or demand (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney fees and costs), made against NASELS by any third party, due to or arising in connection with this Website or external websites and/or your breach of this Agreement.


12. JURISDICTION

If you decide to file a claim or dispute against NASELS, such action must be initiated by a court located in your county. Per this Agreement, you agree to submit all claims and disputes in your jurisdiction. You agree to file such complaint within 30 calendar days of the alleged incident. 


13. RESTRICTIONS

The NASELS Website contains restrictions and consequences. We strive to uphold integrity, safety and compliance while assessing our Website. Violating our restrictions are grounds for termination. NASELS reserves the right to terminate membership or grant a second chance. You agree and understand the following restrictions (including, but not limited to as noted) are prohibited:

  • Unauthorized payment methods. 

  • Fraud or coercion to commit fraud.

  • 2+ Membership Accounts/Person/Entity/Year.

  • Misrepresentation of NASELS or public embarrassment. 

  • Bullying, harassing, stalking or impersonating another member.

  • Gambling, illegal activities and adult explicit content or images. 

  • Profanity, offensive comments or images, and inappropriate jokes. 

  • Amendment of our Website, information and/or services provided through NASELS. 

  • Promote hate, violence, discrimination, threats, terrorism, or destruction of property. 

  • Disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to decrypt source code of the NASELS Website. 

  • Use of a robot, spider, or any automatic device, or manual technique to access or monitor the NASELS Website. 

  • Use of our Website to solicit funds, violate laws and regulations, and badger others. 


14. TERMINATION

NASELS may terminate this agreement without notice. NASELS reserves the right to terminate your account for violating one or more restrictions. If such action occurs, you must wait 6-8 years to open a new account with NASELS. 


15. APPS AND EXTERNAL WEBSITE LINKS

Our Website contains apps and external website links for your convenience. We do not endorse content disclosed throughout such apps and websites. You agree to access each app and website at your own risk. It is your responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions.


16. COPYRIGHT NOTICE

Our Website is ©2023 by NASELS. All Rights Reserved. Under no circumstances, shall you perform such actions (including, but not limited to, copy, print, distribute and sell) any content of the NASELS Website without written permission from NASELS. Any unauthorized use of content constitutes copyright infringement.

18. CONTACT US 

If you have questions regarding our Terms and Conditions agreement, please contact us via phone call or text message at (757) 742-2542 to receive feedback within five (5) business days. Alternate option, please contact us via email at info@nasels.org to receive feedback within 1-8 business days. You authorize NASELS to contact you via phone call, text message and/or email. By communicating with NASELS via phone call or text message, you agree to pay all applicable taxes and fees without seeking reimbursement. During peak hours and Promotional Offers, we may automatically extend the feedback timeframe. In advance, we appreciate your patience and support.  

19. NO REFUND POLICY

NASELS has implemented a No Refund Policy for membership/consultation fees, sponsorship fees, donations and tips. PAYMENTS are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable. 

20. CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK

NASELS reserves the right to conduct a criminal background check. By entering your Personal Information and submitting our membership form, you consent to a criminal background check. If the following criminal activities have occurred (including, but not limited to as noted), you are ineligible to join NASELS:

  • If you have EVER been convicted or found guilty of any charges involving a minor. 

  • If you have been convicted or found guilty of a misdemeanor within the last two (2) years. (excluding speeding violations) 

  • If you have been convicted or found guilty of a felony within the last six (6) years. 

21. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVILEGED NOTICE: EMAIL

This email may contain information that is confidential, privileged, or otherwise protected from disclosure. If you are not the intended recipient of this email, please do not disclose, copy, distribute, or take any action regarding this email or its content. Any unauthorized disclosing, copying, distributing or taking any action regarding this email or its content is strictly prohibited. If you have received this email in error, please notify the sender via email, and delete this email including any attachments from your system. 22. SECURITY AND COMPUTER VIRUS NOTICE: EMAIL

NASELS is committed to ensure security of email messages and attachments. Unfortunately, no method of transmission via the internet is 100% secure and virus-free. Emails can be intercepted, infected, corrupted or arrive late. This email and attachments may contain a computer virus. The recipient is advised to use a reputable virus screening and prevention software. NASELS shall not bear any liability, whatsoever, for any damage caused by any computer viruses that may affect your computer or other equipment.
